Case, William (2)

Case, William a Congregational minister, was born in Connecticut in 1796. He graduated from Yale College in 1821; studied theology for two years in Andover Theological Seminary, as a member of the class of 1824, and was ordained Sept. 1 following. He was pastor at Chester, Conn., from 1824 to 1835; stated supply at New Hartford during 1835 and 1836; without charge at East Windsor from 1836 to 1842; stated supply at Middle Haddam from 1842 to 1844; teacher at Haddam from 1844 to 1846; stated supply at North Madison during 1846 and 1847; and without charge from that time until his death at Hartford, April 28, 1858.
