Carrick, Robert

Carrick, Robert a Scotch clergyman, studied at the Glasgow University, and was licensed to preach in 1713; became tutor in the family of Andrew Buchanan, provost of Glasgow, through whom he was called, in 1719, to the living at Houston, and ordained in 1720. He died May 1, 1771, aged ninety years. See Fasti Eccles. Scoticanae, 2, 215.
