Capitolini

Capitolini was a name of reproach applied by the Novatians to the Catholics, because the latter resolved, in their synods, to receive into communion again, upon their sincere repentance, such as had offered sacrifice in the capitol. See Bingham, Chirist. Antiq. bk. i, c. 3.
