Cane, John Vincent

Cane, John Vincent, an English friar of the order of St. Francis, lived principally at London, and died in 1672. He wrote Fiat Lux (1661), in which he endeavored to show that the only remedy for all existing evils was a return to the bosom of an " infallible church." See Allibone, Diet. of Brit. and Amer. Authors, s.v. .
