Camuset

Camuset (or Camuzet), abbe, a French theologian, was born at Chalons-sur-Marne in 1746. He was at first assistant master of the College Mazarin, then professor. His works are highly esteemed, even by his adversaries, He wrote, Pensees Antiphilosophiques (Paris, 1770): — Saint Augustin Vesnge des Jansenists (ibid. 1771): — Principes contre lIncredulite (ibid.eod.): — Pensees sure Theisme (ibid. 1785).
