Caenchomhrac

Caenchomhrac is commemorated in the Irish calendar on July 23. Mart. Doneg. (by Todd and Reeves, p. 199) gives him as bishop, first at Cluain-mic-Nois, and next at Inis Endaimh, in Lough Ribh, County Roscommon. He left Cluain on account of the popular veneration given him as a prophet, and sought for solitude in Lough Ree.-Smith, Dict. of Christ. Biog. s.v.
