Burchard, Mauritius a German theologian, who died as doctor and professor of theology, and archdeacon of St. Thomas at Leipsic, July 16, 1637, is the author of Propugnaculum Christianorum:-Duodecadem pro Augustana Confessione :-De Peccato Originis.
