Buchanan, John Junkin

Buchanan, John Junkin an Associate Reformed minister, was born at Steubenville, Ohio, January 24, 1817. He graduated at Franklin College, New Athens, in 1838, studied theology in the Associate Reformed Seminary of Allegheny City, and was licensed by the Presbytery of Steubenville in 1841. The next year he served two congregations in Beaver County, Pennsylvania, and was ordained by the Presbytery of Monongahela. After a few years he was obliged, from failing health. to give up his charge. In June 1852, he left the congregations then under his care and retired to recruit himself, but he died.
