Brownson, Ira a Methodist Episcopal minister, was received into the Genesee Conference in: 1820, and labored with self-sacrificing devotion until his death at Granger. N.Y., June 27, 1843. He was abundantly useful as a Christian and minister. See Minutes of Annual Conferences, 1843, page 453.
