Brandreth, John (1)

Brandreth, John (1), an English Wesleyan minister, was born at Buxton, Derbyshire, in 1797. He was converted when eighteen; received into the ministry in 1821; entered his last appointment (Durham) in September 1858; preached his last sermon on February 20; and died April 24, 1859. He was an instructive and useful minister. See Minutes of the British Conference, 1859.
