Brandagee, John J., D.D.

a clergyman of the Protestant Episcopal Church, was born at New London, Connecticut, July 15, 1824. He graduated at Yale College in 1843; studied at the General Theological Seminary; was ordained deacon and labored at St. Thomas, West Indies; returned to the United States, and was ordained priest in 1849, assuming the rectorship of St. Michael's, Litchfield, Connecticut; became rector of Grace Church, Utica, N.Y., in 1854, and died there April 6, 1864.
