Bobuns

Bobuns in Hindu mythology, are the separate regions of the universe, of which there are fifteen — seven under and seven above the surface of the earth — the earth being the fifteenth region. In the former the fallen spirits are punished; in the latter, those above the surface of the earth, they are purified and made perfect.
