would be the more appropriate rendering for πλοιάριον ("little ship," Mr 3:9; Mr 4:30; Joh 21:8), such as were in our Lord's time and still are used on the Lake Tiberias (see Ridgaway, The Lord's Land, p. 632). SEE SHIP.
