Blanchard, Charles Antoine

Blanchard, Charles Antoine a French Benedictine of the congregation of St. Maur, was born at Rethel in 1737, and died at Caen in 1797, leaving in manuscript a Histoire de l'Abbaye de Saint Etienne de Caen; which contains valuable information upon the origin and manners of the people of Britain.
