Black, John (1)

Black, John (1), a Presbyterian minister, was born in South Carolina. He graduated at the College of New Jersey in 1771; was licensed to preach by the Donegal Presbytery, Oct. 14, 1773, and was installed pastor of the Congregation of Marsh Creek, York Co., Pa., where he remained until 1794.
