Besodei'ah (Heb. Besodyah', בּסוֹדיָה, in the council of Jehovah; according to First, son of trust in Jehovah; Sept. Βασωδία), the father of Meshullam, which latter repaired "the old gate" of Jerusalem (Nehemiah in. 6). B.C. ante 446.
