Bayes, Joshua

Bayes, Joshua an English Presbyterian minister, was horn in 1671, and died in 1761. He was one of the writers who completed Matthew Henry's Commentary on the Holy Scriptures. He also published a work against Popery (2 vols. 1735). See Allibone, Dict. of Brit. and Amer. Authors, s.v.
