Barraso, Migel

Barraso, Migel, a Spanish painter and architect, was born at Consuegra in 1538, and studied painting in the school of Bicerra. He executed for Philip II, in the principal cloister of the Escurial, The Resurrection, Christ Appearing to

the Apostles, The Descent of the Holy Ghost, and St. Paul Preaching. He died at Madrid in 1590.
