Balasfi, Thomas

Balasfi, Thomas, a Hungarian theologian, lived at the commencement of the 17th century. He was born of a noble family, and was first rector, then bishop of Presburg. He wrote a work against Protestantism, Tsepregi Oskola, Mellyben a Lutheranus es Kolvinista (Posonii, 1616). See Hoefer, Nouv. Biog. Generale, s.v.
