Baker, John (1)

Baker, John (1), a Protestant martyr, was an Englishman by birth, and dwelt in Cadiz, Spain. He was apprehended and burned in Seville, Nov. 2, 1558, for his faithful adherence to the truth. See Fox, Acts and Monuments, 8:516.
