Bacci, Carlo

Bacci, Carlo an Italian Benedictine and theologian, was born April 25, 1629. From Florence, where he taught theology, he went to Poland and there founded the Congregation of Cassini. He afterwards returned to Rome, where he died, in 1683. He wrote, De Principiis Universee Theologice Miralis, seu de Acibus Humanis (Florence, 1667). See Hoefer, Nouv. Biog. Generale, s.v.
