Avogadro, Pietro (called Bresciano), an Italian painter, was born at Brescia, and flourished about the year 1730. He studied under Pompeo Ghiti. His chief work is the Martyrdom of Sts. Crispino and Crispanio, in the Church of St. Joseph at Brescia.
