Audebert, Ann

Audebert, Ann a martyr, was taken, on her: way to Geneva, and brought to Paris; and there, by the council, adjudged to be burned at Orleans, in 1549. When the rope was put around her neck, she called it- the wedding girdle wherewith she was to be married to Christ. See Fox, Acts .and Monuments, 4:405.
