Arysdaghes

Arysdaghes (surnamed KRASSER, i.e. the lover of books), an Armenian writer, was born ill High Armenia in: 1178. He pursued his studies in the Monastery of Sghevra, near the castle of Lamprou, in Cilicia, taught rhetoric in several provinces of Armenia, and died at Sis in 1239, leaving an Armenian- Grammar and Dictionary, which have not been printed.
