Anthony, M. R.

a minister of the Methodist Episcopal Church, South, was born in Jackson County, O., Feb. 12, 1823. He joined the Church at the age of eighteen; emigrated to Missouri in 1846; and in 1851 united with the St. Louis Conference, which connection he held, with the exception of a short interval, until his death, June. 18, 1868.
