Anastasius Bishop of Nicea (2)

Anastasius Bishop Of Nicea (2), was present at the Synod of Constantinople, A.D. 518, and signed the letter to the patriarch John concerning Severus. His name also appears attached to the letter of the synodῥ of 520 to Hormisdas, on the appointment of Epiphanius. He took part, also, in the proceedings of the Council of Constantinople, A.D. 536. To this Anastasius is probably to be ascribed the Commentary on the Psalms (in MSS. Bibl. Coisl. p. 389).
