Agriskowe

Agriskowe was a battle-cry of the Iroquois, and also of the Hurons; the latter, however, say Agriskowi. For a long time there was doubt as to the meaning of the word, until it was found to be derived from Agresbur, the god of war, and was used as a cry for help.
