Adrian, St (4)

Adrian, ST. (4), the husband of St. Natalia (q.v.), was also martyred at Nicomedia, under the emperors Galerius Maximianus and Licinius. His body is said to have been transported to Argyropolis. He is commemorated August 26, with St. Natalia and twenty- three other fellow-martyrs. By some he is thought to be the same with the preceding. See Baillet, vol. iii, Sept. 8; Moreri, who cites The Acts of St. Adrian.
