Adams, William (3)

Adams, William (3), an early Methodist preacher, was born in Fairfax County, Va., July 23,1759. In 1775, after a season of distress and powerful conviction, he was converted. He was received on trial by the Conference in 1779, and appointed to the Baltimore Circuit, where he served with great profit for about six months. He died Dec. 3,1779.
