Adams, John (5)

Adams, John (5), a Presbyterian minister, was born in Ireland, March 7, 1785. He was educated at the University of Glasgow, and studied theology privately. He emigrated to the United States in 1832, joined the Associate Presbyterian Church, and was appointed to preach at Guinston, York Co., Pa. He died Jan. 14, 1862. See Wilson, Presb. Hist.
