Adams, Cornelius

Adams, Cornelius, a Congregational minister, was born at Canterbury, Conn., Nov. 9, 1776. He graduated at Yale College in 1803, and was ordained at Scotland, Conn., in 1805. He followed Dr. Cogswell in the pastorate of the Church in the last-named place, and died Nov. 28, 1807. The sermon he preached the Sabbath after his ordination was published. See Cong.
