Acestes

Acestes in Roman mythology, was the son of the Sicilian god of the river Crissus, who, being transformed into a dog, begot this his first Son by Segesta. As Segesta was the daughter of a Trojan, Hippotas, the Trojans who came with AEneas to Sicily were received with great hospitality.
