Ablutiis (or Abluviis), Geoffroy De

Ablutiis (Or Abluviis), Geoffroy De, a native of Abluies (now Ablis), between Paris and Chartres, France. He became a Dominican and received the appointment of inquisitor-general of Carcassonne, and sustained with firmness, the persecution raised against, him, as an inquisitor, by the Franciscan Bernard Deliciosi in 1301. His death is said to have occurred at Lyons, about 1318. Hi works are, Short Commentaries on the Four Books of the Master of the Sentences; — Acts in Quality of Inquisitor.
